Georges River Council will host Sydney Metro’s largest Council-led Lunar New Year celebration, marking the 22nd annual festival in the region. This year’s celebration will be transforming the area into a hub of festivities to celebrate the Year of the Snake with a vibrant day of culture, food, and entertainment in Hurstville!
Enjoy the Forest Road Street Markets, offering delicious Asian cuisine, artisan crafts, and traditional goods. At Hurstville Plaza, catch live performances, including lion dancing, martial arts, and a fire-breathing dragon show by Michael Speranza. There will be official proceedings and cooking demos by Asian Inspirations throughout the day.
