Eurovision Returns to Georges River

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the year! The Eurovision Song Contest is back, and this time, it’s taking over Georges River for an unforgettable live broadcast party.

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, Hurstville’s Marana Auditorium will be transformed into an Austrian Alpine Adventure  cosy, colourful and packed with Eurovision energy.

What to expect

Watch the live Grand Final on the big screen and feel every note as you cheer for every point in a vibrant, Austrian-inspired festive atmosphere. Soak up the energy at the EuroBar, where schnapps, mulled wine, and more will be flowing to keep the party going (please note, no BYO drinks). Enjoy free coffee and pretzels on arrival, with additional food available to purchase, and you’re also welcome to bring your own food.

Whether you’re a die-hard Eurovision fan or completely new to the experience, you’ll feel right at home. It’s the perfect event for all ages and all levels of Eurovision knowledge—no need to know the songs, just come along and enjoy the atmosphere.

Prizes & fun

Dress to impress and don’t hold back. Go glam, go camp, and you might just take home a prize for best dressed. Expect a sea of flags, sing-alongs, and pure Eurovision energy as the night unfolds. Capture your moment of fame with fun photo activations and themed backdrops, then get involved in the action with Eurovision bingo and your own personal scorecard to rate each performance. And of course, don’t forget to cast your vote. We’ll be crowning a Georges River fan favourite by the end of the night!

Set your alarms, grab your outfit, gather your friends, and join us as we cheer on Australia’s Delta Goodrem toward Eurovision glory! Let’s make it a morning to remember!
